Cumbersome Multiples and poet Rafael Oses were just award at RACC grant to create a limited-edition letterpress book. The book will include a series of woodcut images for “The Night Pharaoh”, a 17 section epic poem of loss, reclamation and survival. Raphael will complete the poem during a residency at Caldera in Sisters, Oregon (February 2010). Daniel will carve a series of woodcut images to form a visual conversation with the text. Tracy will design the book and jacket/ cd cover.
